1994 · Mesero city hall

  • architect: arch.Angelo Massetti
  • with A.Bertolini, S.Ferrari, A.Galli
  • structure: Ing.Marco Brolpito

The simple and thin volume joins the old Town Hall estendone the front along the San Bernardo.Il difference in height of one meter and a half between the slab of the first floor of the existing building and the wing in the project is the pretext for the creation of new council hall with stands for the public and access ramps around the middle of the room. The dining room is enclosed by wooden walls fenestrated that allow a better acoustic environment, create a scenic environment and representative, used for conferences and performances. This creates an effect of “architecture architecture” as mentioned in the halls of the Medici and Gonzaga theaters or wooden choirs of churches and cathedrals.
